There is no need to go far to find a very different country of France. You'll only have to cross the Channel to explore England.
http://www.housesittersuk.co.uk/files/regionphotos/house-sitting-uk-england_01_l.jpgIt's true, the climate does not lend itself too much to sunbathe, but take the opportunity to visit the wonderful museums and monuments that can offer London for example. Or follow in the footsteps of the "Four boys in the wind" by going to Liverpool.
If you are a nature lover and you're up for a green holiday, you will be spoiled. Wales and Scotland offer splendid landscapes that are ideal for outdoor activities. Britain has ten most beautiful natural parks as each other.

Having made efforts during the day, what better than to settle into a pub and drinking a pint! This is also the place to get to know the people and their traditions.
Cultural Heritage / Archaeology / museumThe people in the UK are very attached to their Queen. The royal family and the traditions linked to it prominently in their heart and in their lives. The Queen's Palace is in the heart of London. A part of the palace is eight weeks visit per year during the summer.

Failing to see the Queen, you will see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace every day at 11:30 in the summer and every other day the rest of the year.
